Women Empowerment

It is well proven fact that Empowering Women makes huge impact on the society. Therefore, Maymar Charitable Trust is taking various steps to empower women. Tailoring classes, Mehendi classes, art & craft classes are conducted regularly in DJ Halli, Avalahalli, and Nayandahalli centers. Certificates are issued after successful completion of courses.

We want to empower women to become Entrepreneurs by establishing their own businesses

• The objective is to support skill development for women, such as Tailoring, embroidery, handicrafts, etc.
• Activities started during 2000.
• The activity details are as shown in the below table:
• The long-term plan is to extend this activity to all Nodal Centers and to ensure the development of “Women Entrepreneurs” in the community.
